This is a group for African Americans with Multiple Sclerosis, family, caregivers and friends. This group will provide an avenue for connection, optimism, education, personal change, health, exercise, advocacy and friendship. If you live in the Triangle area of NC and/or surrounding cities or counties, please join our group. We will begin having monthly meeting in February 2013. So please stay tune for more information.
MSFITS = Multiple Sclerosis First in Team Spirit! We are a varied group of road cyclist that rides together for fun, exercise and towards the goal of fighting Multiple Sclerosis. We have informal group rides throughout the year and fund raising rides a three times each year. We also ride as a team in the MS Bike Tour each fall. Riders and volunteer are needed and welcome. We ride at all speeds and are a great group of fun loving people. Join us for some great riding.

Modern Society is the triangle’s newest young professional group. We’re an enthusiastic group of young adult professionals, ages 21-39, committed to volunteering our time, talents and energy to promote MS awareness through various social, fundraising and volunteer events. Whether you know anything about MS or not, we want you to join! Our goal is to help create a world free of MS and you can help by socializing and joining Modern Society.

The purpose of this Group is to provide an opportunity for people of the Durham/Chapel Hill area, who are struggling with chronic illness, to meet for emotional support, social interactions, exchange practical information, discuss current topics related to chronic illnesses, and promote better relations with the professional medical community through Group sponsored events.
